Barbara Schmidbauer
Barbara Schmidbauer (born November 15, 1937 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( SPD ).
After graduating from high school, Schmidbauer trained as a bank clerk. She was a member of the state board of the SPD Hessen , the district board of Hessen-Süd and the federal board of the working group of social democratic women .
Schmidbauer moved up to the European Parliament in 1987 and was a member of it until 1999. There she was a member of the S&D group and various committees.
Schmidbauer is the mother of a disabled daughter.
