Baron Daresbury
Baron Daresbury , of Walton in the County of Chester , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
The family seat of the barons was Walton Hall near Warrington and is now Hall Lane Farm near Daresbury both in Cheshire.
Award
The title was created on June 21, 1927 for Sir Gilbert Greenall, 2nd Baronet . He had already in 1894 from his father Sir Gilbert Greenall, 1st Baronet (1806-1894) the subordinate title of Baronet , of Walton Hall in the County of Chester, inherited, which had been awarded to this on February 22, 1876.
Today's title holder has been his great-grandson Peter Greenall as the 4th Baron since 1996 .
