Baron Forres , of Glenogil in the County of Forfar , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on June 19, 1922 for the Scottish businessman and liberal politician Sir Archibald Williamson, 1st Baronet . This had already been awarded the subordinate title Baronet , of Glenogil in the County of Forfar on July 29, 1909

Today's title holder has been his great-grandson Alastair Williamson as 4th Baron since 1978 .
