Baron Manton
Baron Manton , of Compton Verney in the County of Warwick , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
The family seat of the barons was Compton Verney House near Kineton in Warwickshire and is now Houghton Hall in Sancton near York in North Yorkshire .
Award
The title was created on January 25, 1922 for the Leeds industrialist Joseph Watson .
Today's title holder has been his great-grandson Miles Watson as the 4th Baron since 2003 .
