Baron Harvey of Tasburgh

Baron Harvey of Tasburgh , of Tasburgh in the County of Norfolk , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award and subordinate titles

The title was created on July 3, 1954 for the diplomat Sir Oliver Harvey , on the occasion of his resignation from the office of the British Ambassador to France . On November 15, 1954, on the death of his older half-brother Sir Charles Harvey, 3rd Baronet (1871-1954) he inherited the title created in 1868 for his grandfather 4th Baronet , of Crown Point in the Parish of Trowse in the County of Norfolk.

Today's title holder has been his grandson as 3rd Baron since 2010.

The heir ( Heir Apparent ) is the son of the current title holder, Hon. John Harvey (* 1993).
