Baron Hemingford

Baron Hemingford , of Watford in the County of Hertford , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The barons' family residence is The Old Rectory at Hemingford Abbots near Huntingdon in Cambridgeshire .

Award

The title was created on February 1, 1943 for the conservative politician Sir Dennis Herbert . He was Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons from 1931 to 1943 .

Today's title holder is his grandson Dennis Nicholas Herbert as 3rd Baron.
