Viscount Leathers

Viscount Leathers , of Purfleet in the County of Essex , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award and subordinate titles

The title was created on January 18, 1954 for the entrepreneur and politician Frederick Leathers, 1st Baron Leathers .

He had already been raised to Baron Leathers , of Purfleet in the County of Essex on May 19, 1941 in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Today's title holder is his grandson Christopher Leathers as 3rd Viscount.
