Baron Monk Bretton
Baron Monk Bretton , of Conyboro and Hurstpierpoint in the County of Sussex , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on November 4, 1884 for the liberal politician John George Dodson . He had been a Member of the House of Commons for more than 25 years and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster from 1882 to 1884 .
