Baron Noel-Buxton
Baron Noel-Buxton , of Aylsham in the County of Norfolk , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on June 17, 1930 for the liberal politician Noel Edward Noel-Buxton . He was for many years a member of the House of Commons and in the two governments of Ramsay MacDonald , in 1924 and between 1929 and 1930, also Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries. In 1915 he published the book The War and the Balkans with his brother Charles Roden .
He was the second son of Sir Thomas Buxton, 3rd Baronet . The respective baron therefore also stands in the succession for the dignity of a baronet , of Belfield.
