Baron Silsoe , of Silsoe in the County of Bedford , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award and subordinate titles

The title was created on January 18, 1963 for the Conservative MP, Sir Malcolm Eve, 1st Baronet . As early as January 18, 1943, the subordinate title Baronet , of Silsoe in the County of Bedford, was awarded to him in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom .

Today's title holder has been his grandson Simon Eve as 3rd Baron since 2005 .

Title heir ( Heir Presumptive ) is the uncle of the current title holder, Hon. Peter Eve (* 1930).
