Baron Stamp
Baron Stamp , of Shortlands in the County of Kent , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on June 28, 1938 for the director of the Bank of England , Sir Josiah Stamp .
Today's title holder has been his grandson Trevor Stamp as the 4th Baron since 1987 .
