Baron Swansea

Baron Swansea , of Singleton in the County of Glamorgan , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award

The title was created on June 9, 1893 for the industrialist and Liberal MP, Sir Henry Vivian, 1st Baronet . As early as May 13, 1882, he was given the subordinate title Baronet , of Singleton in the County of Glamorgan.

Today's title holder has been his great-great grandson Richard Vivian as 5th Baron since 2005 .

Title heir ( Heir Apparent ) is the son of the current title holder, Hon. James Vivian (* 1999).
