Baron Terrington

Baron Terrington , of Huddersfield in the County of York , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

The family home of the barons is Lister House in London .

Award

The title was created on January 19, 1918 for the liberal politician Sir James Woodhouse . This was from 1895 to 1906 Member of the House of Commons for Huddersfield.

Today's title holder has been his great-grandson Christopher Woodhouse, 6th Baron Terrington , since 2001 .
