Baron Thomson of Fleet

Baron Thomson of Fleet , of Northbridge in the City of Edinburgh , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

It was created on March 10, 1964 for the Canadian media entrepreneur Roy Thomson , the founder of The Thomson Corporation , and refers to the then British press center Fleet Street in London .
