Lena Arnoldt (born September 16, 1982 in Eschwege ) is a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

Lena Arnoldt graduated from the vocational high school in Eschwege in 2002 . She completed her subsequent training as a tax clerk at the Warken & Partner law firm in 2005. Lena Arnoldt completed her studies in business administration at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics.

From May 2009 to September 2010, Lena Arnoldt worked as an audit assistant at the auditing company Treugeno GmbH in Kassel and then moved to the auditing company Strecker, Berger + Partner GmbH, based in the same location, where she worked until January 2014.

politics

Lena Arnoldt has been a member of the Werra-Meißner district council since 2006 and was the top candidate of the Werra-Meißner CDU for the local election on March 6, 2016. From 2016 to 2020 she was the district chairwoman of the Werra-Meißner CDU . Lena Arnoldt was active in leading positions at many levels of the Junge Union . Among other things as deputy state chairwoman of the Junge Union Hessen and member of the district board of the Junge Union Nordhessen. In the 2013 election year, Arnoldt also headed the campaign commission of the Junge Union Hessen and was a member of the program commission of the CDU Hessen .

On January 18, 2014, she became a member of the Hessian state parliament, replacing Mark Weinmeister . In the state elections in 2018 , she ran as a direct candidate for the CDU in the Rotenburg constituency . She moved in as a direct candidate as a member of the Hessian state parliament . In the 20th electoral term, Arnoldt is a member of the budget committee , the committee for the environment, climate protection, agriculture and consumer protection as well as the sub-committee for financial controlling and administrative management. In the CDU parliamentary group in the state parliament, she is deputy chairwoman and environmental policy spokeswoman.
