Baron Tibetot
Baron Tibetot (also Tiptoft ) was a hereditary British title in the Peerage of England .
Award and history of the title
The title was created on March 10, 1308 for Payn de Tibetot when he was appointed to Parliament by King Edward II through Writ of Summons .
When his grandson, the 3rd Baron, died on April 13, 1372, the title in Abeyance fell between his daughters and has been suspended ever since.
A nephew of the last baron, John Tiptoft (1400-1443), on January 7, 1426, the title of Baron Tiptoft was newly bestowed.
