Baron Wakehurst
Baron Wakehurst , of Ardingly in the County of Sussex , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on June 29, 1934 for the conservative politician and Chairman of the Southern Railway Gerald Loder .
Today's title holder has been his grandson John Loder as 3rd Baron since 1970 .
