Baron de Villiers
Baron de Villiers , of Wynberg in the Cape of Good Hope Province and the Union of South Africa , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was created on September 21, 1910 for the South African lawyer Sir John de Villiers , on the occasion of his appointment as Chief Justice of South Africa .
Today's title holder has been his great-grandson as the 4th Baron since 2001.
