Barrier Slope
Coordinates: 77 ° 48 ′ S , 166 ° 47 ′ E
Barrier Slope is a slope north of Castle Rock on the Hut Point Peninsula of Ross Island, Antarctica . It falls in the direction of the Ross Ice Shelf (formerly English Ross Barrier ).
New Zealand scientists named it after its geographical location.
