Barry Kitson is a British comic book artist .
Life and work
Kitson has been a professional draftsman since the 1980s. He works mainly for the two large US publishing houses DC Comics and Marvel Comics .
After working on Spider-Man for Marvel UK, an offshoot of the US publisher, Kitson was hired as an artist for the British magazine Judge Dredd . There he visualized stories from authors such as Alan Grant and Grant Morrison .
Kitson drew comic books for DC Comics for series such as Adventures of Superman , Azrael , Batman: Shadow of the Bat , The Titans , The Brave and the Bold , LEGION and the Catwoman stories for the Action Comics Weekly series . There were also some editions for the Batman anthology Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight (# 146–148) and special projects such as Batman / Punisher , Batgirl Special , JLA: Year One or Batman: Book of the Dead .
Kitson's latest project is the Legion of Super Heroes series, which he has been responsible for since 2004.
