Barry Menikoff

Barry Menikoff (born January 2, 1939 in New York ) is an American literary scholar.

He studied at Brooklyn College ( BA 1960) and at the University of Wisconsin ( MS 1962, Ph.D. , 1966). Since 1965 he has taught English literature at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa . His main research interests are the English and American literature of the 19th century, with particular interest in the Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson .
