Barsfleth is a village in the municipality of Nordermeldorf in the Dithmarschen district .

history

Barsfleth was first mentioned in 1140 under the name Bersenflete, it was first mentioned in a document in 1447 under the name Borsfleth . Other common spellings were Bardesvlete and Bardesflethe .

On April 1, 1934, the parish of Nordermeldorf was dissolved. All of their village communities, village communities and farmers became independent communities / rural communities, including Barsfleth.

On January 1, 1974, the previously independent community formed the new community of Nordermeldorf together with Christianskoog and Thalingburen .
