Barton Seagrave Castle

Barton Seagrave Castle is an Outbound castle in the village of Barton Seagrave in Kettering in the English county of Northamptonshire .

The castle site is located southwest of the village center. The castle was built in the early 14th century by Nicholas Seagrave, 1st Baron Seagrave of Barton Segrave and Stowe . After 1433, however, it fell into disrepair. It was surrounded by a moat and another moat is north of the castle. These two trenches can still be seen today.
