from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Basellandschaftliche Ueberlandbahn , abbreviated BUeB , was a railway company in Switzerland . It was the owner of the Basel – Pratteln railway line, which opened in 1921 , but never operated as an operator and therefore did not own any vehicles. The company merged on January 1, 1974 with the Birsigthalbahn (BTB), the Birseckbahn (BEB) and the Basel-Aesch tramway (TBA) to form the then newly founded Baselland Transport AG (BLT).
