Basilinda (βασιλίνδα) or King's Game was an ancient children's game. One child became king by drawing lots, the remaining children had to take on the roles that the king assigned them, for example as servants or soldiers.

The king's game is mentioned more often by the ancient authors; Iulius Pollux (IX, 110) described the rules of the game. The story passed down by Herodotus (I, 14) is well known, according to which the young Cyrus was recognized as king in the king's game of the village youth.
