The Bastion Garden has an area of 1500 square meters.

Emergence

The scientific processing of the Hortus Eystettensis by the French botanist Gérard G. Aymonin created the basis for the redesign of the bastion garden. The plants in the garden were described in the magnificent botanical work Hortus Eystettensis .

The creation and planting of the garden took almost five years until it opened in 1998. The procurement of the plants took a long time.
