Batali Hill
Batali Hill was originally the highest point in the city of Chittagong , Bangladesh, at around 85 meters (280 feet) .
location
The hill is located about a kilometer northeast of the city center of Chittagong in Thana Khulshi near the Tiger Pass junction, a roundabout with a large colored tiger statue on the east side.
history
A light mast stood on the hill as a reference point for the ships at sea.
description
The Bay of Bengal and much of the city can be seen clearly from the hill. On the hill is a memorial to the War of Liberation . Because of the earthworks associated with the increasing development of the hill, landslides occur again and again, which also reduces the overall height of the hill.
