description

The batangas has a curved, single-edged blade. The blade starts narrow at the handle and widens towards the location . The blade is smooth and has neither a hollow grind nor a central ridge. In place, the blade widens and is slightly curved. The hilt has a round guard made of metal and is made of wood. It is decorated with all-round carvings and the pommel is wide. The Batangas is used by ethnic groups in the Philippines.
