The Royal Batavian Society of Arts and Sciences ( Dutch : Koninklijk Bataviaasch Genootschap van Kunsten en Wetenschappen ; English Royal Batavian Society of Arts and Sciences ) was a Dutch learned society in Batavia (now Jakarta , Indonesia ).

The society was founded in 1778 by the natural scientist Jacob Cornelis Mattheus Radermacher as Bataviaasch Genootschap der Konsten en Wetenschappen (English Batavian Society of Arts and Sciences ) and received its present name in 1910. After Indonesia's independence in 1949, it was renamed Lembaga Kebudajaan Indonesia in 1950 and ceased operations in 1962. Her collection is now in the Indonesian National Museum .
