Assembly scrap

The assembly scrap (BGA) is the scrap that arises during the manufacture of an assembly or a finished product at its manufacturing level.

The quantity of all components to be produced increases by the proportion of the estimated or past assembly scrap. The assembly scrap is considered by the planner in advance of production or set in the planning and control systems on the material master.
