Building stone from Hegreberg

The building stone of Hegreberg is east of Hegrebergveien in Stavanger in the west of the island Austre Åmøy in Fylke Rogaland in Norway . The menhir is located in the garden of an abandoned private house and slopes slightly to one side.

The building stone , visible from afar, is shaped like an elongated stone slab with a flat tip. It is about 5.0 m high, one meter wide and 30 cm thick. Its surface is mossy.
