Bavarian-Czech border position

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Bavarian-Czech border was a defense system from the 1930s consisting of almost 100 bunkers . The position, which was erected in a simple barrier construction without any subdivision in depth, reached from Selb in the north to Eslarn in the south . The bunkers erected in the process had wall thicknesses between 60 cm and 1 m and their floor plans were relatively simple.

After the war, almost all the facilities were blown up and later demolished, so that today there is hardly anything left to indicate this defensive structure.
