Bavarian Israelite Community Newspaper
The Bayerische Israelitische Gemeindezeitung with the subtitle of the news paper of the Israelitische Kultusgemeinde in Munich and the Association of Bavarian Israelitischer Gemeindezeitung was a newspaper that appeared from 1925 to 1937. It was published by the Association of Bavarian Israelite Congregations .
The newspaper was published from February 1925, first monthly, later every two weeks until the forced recruitment of the sheet in December 1937. The editorial board was in the hands of Eugen Schmidt and Ludwig Feuchtwanger .
The community newspaper combined articles on tradition and religious customs with articles on cultural topics. Reports on affairs of the Jewish communities, official and family advertisements and advertisements formed further sections of the newspaper.
