Bavarian artillery commander No. 15

The Bavarian Artillery Commander No. 15 was an artillery command of the Bavarian Army during the First World War .

history

The command was formed by the substitute department of the 7th field artillery regiment "Prinzregent Luitpold" according to the ordinance of the Bavarian War Ministry of February 22, 1917. It was mobilized on March 1, 1917 and was subordinate to the 15th Bavarian Infantry Division until the armistice .

After the end of the war, the command returned home on December 22, 1918, where it was demobilized and finally dissolved in Munich at the end of December 1918 .

On July 5, 1918, the following units were under the command:

  • 7th field artillery regiment "Prinzregent Luitpold"
  • Bavarian Foot Artillery Battalion 23
  • Bavarian ammunition columns 148, 152 and 155
