Baynes Island is a collection of three islands on the northeast coast of Tasmania , Australia . The islands only form a unit at low tide . The group has a total size of 1.62 hectares . She is part of the Waterhouse Island group .

fauna

On the island, among others, the following were brooding Meeresvögelabird registered: Little Penguin , Pacific Gull , Silver Gull , sooty oystercatcher , black-faced cormorant and Caspian tern . The Australian white-throated duck has also nested on the island.
