The Bebut ( Russian Бебут ) is a dagger from the Caucasus and Russia.

description

The Bebut has a curved, double-edged blade. The blade becomes slightly narrower from the handle to the location and is slightly curved from 2/3 of the blade. The place is pointy. The blade usually has two hollow grinds , to the right and left of the central ridge. The hilt has no guard and is made of wood or metal. The handle scales are usually attached to the tang with two rivets with a large head. The scabbards are usually made of wood and covered with black-dyed leather. The Bebut is a version of the Kindjal . It is used by ethnic groups in Russia.
