Etching (unit)

Etching was a Transylvanian piece measure in the trade in unprocessed (raw) hemp .

  • 1 bundles = 10 tufts / bushes = 100 tufts / travelers

Processed hemp was charged according to the wagon measure, not in all places.

They also calculated 24 pounds per stone , so that 5 stones made the hundredweight.
