Beka or Beka-Record is a German record label founded in Berlin in 1905 , which was one of the best-known music labels in the 1920s.

history

The name is the abbreviation for (Heinrich) Bumb & Koenig GmbH, manufacture and sales of gramophones and phonographs . As an institute for modern inventions Bumb and Koenig , the company had developed phonographs and then focused on the rapidly growing record market.

In 1910 Carl Lindström AG bought Beka-Record AG, in 1917 it took it over and continued to run the brand.
