Belas Lakra

Belas Lakra (* 1940 , † 13. January 2004 ) was Bishop and Moderator of the Evangelical - Lutheran Gossner Church in Chotanagpur and Assam .

In October 1995 Belas Lakra became bishop of the North-West Diocese and was deputy moderator until he was elected moderator of his church in November 2001. Lakra was the father of four children and died in 2004 at the age of 64.
