Belchen

Belchen is the name of the following mountains in the German-French-Swiss border triangle:

  • Belchen (Black Forest) , also Badischer Belchen (1,414 meters) in the southern Black Forest
  • Belchenflue , also Swiss Belchen , Bölchen or Bölchenfluh (1,099 meters) in the Swiss Jura
  • Alsatian Belchen , also Welscher Belchen , French Ballon d'Alsace (1,247 meters) in the Vosges, France
  • Großer Belchen , also Sulzer or Gebweiler Belchen , French Grand Ballon (1,424 meters), highest mountain in the Vosges
  • Kahler Wasen , also Kleiner Belchen , French Petit Ballon (1,267 meters), also in the Vosges
  • Ballon de Servance , not a German name in use
  • Belchen (Siglistorf) , ridge and pass near Sigilistorf in Aargau
