Belvedere is a Canadian punk rock band that formed in 1995 and disbanded in 2005. In 2012 the band got together again.
history
Initially planned as a studio band, the group was able to build a fan base. They were known for their incredible speed and their lyrics, which were very melodious for punk rock conditions. B. played on the Warped Tour . The band broke up in 2005 after four album releases and a farewell tour in Canada in November of the same year . The last concert was in her hometown of Calgary .
The last tour was not planned as a farewell tour and also came as a surprise for the Belgian tour guide Five Days Off , as it was not played to the end. The band members described the situation as "tired" and "burned out".
In November 2011, some reunion shows for 2012 in Canada, Brazil and Europe (including the Groezrock Festival) were announced.
At the end of 2015, the band announced that they were working on a new album. Her fifth studio album, The Revenge of the Fifth , was released on May 5, 2016. The band's lineup remained the same except for a change on the drums. Here Graham Churchill was replaced by Casey Lewis.
