Ben Millar McKendry (born March 25, 1993 in Vancouver ) is a Canadian football player on the position of midfielder .

Career

Youth and amateur football

McKendry played in his youth for the Vancouver Selects and later moved to the youth team of the Vancouver Whitecaps. He then played for the University of New Mexico college team . There McKendry scored 14 goals in 60 games and prepared five more. At the same time he also played in the USL Premier Development League for the U-23 of the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Club career

On January 26, 2015 McKendry signed a professional contract under the Homegrown Player Rule with the Vancouver Whitecaps . Shortly afterwards he was loaned to the U-23, where he made his competitive debut on March 29 in the 4-0 defeat against the second team of Seattle Sounders FC .

National team

McKendry was part of the roster for the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championship .
