Beni Belʿaqab
The Beni Belʿaqab (also Bani Belʿaqab; bny blʿqb ) were a tribe in Mesopotamia , who are mentioned in two inscriptions in Hatra and probably lived in the vicinity of the city. Accordingly, together with the tribe of the Beni Taymu, they built a temple (Temple VIIIa, which was dedicated to Heracles ) and a tomb (after 88/9 AD) in the city in AD 97/8.
