Beni Taymu
The Beni Taymu (also Bani Taymu; bny tmyw ) were a tribe named in two inscriptions in Hatra and probably lived in the vicinity of the city. Accordingly, together with the tribe of the Beni Belʿaqab , they built a temple (Temple VIIIa, which was dedicated to Heracles ) and a tomb (after 88/9 AD) in the city in 97/8 AD. The Beni Taymu are also documented in inscriptions from Wadi Hauran that date back to 98 AD. Nothing else is known about the tribe.
