Benjamín Fal is a retired Mexican soccer player and soccer player. He mostly acted in the offensive area.

Life

Fal was in the 1959/60 season under contract with Club Necaxa , with whom he won the Copa México with a 10-9 win on penalties (the game itself ended 2-2) against CD Tampico . In the subsequent Supercup final against the reigning champions Chivas Guadalajara , he scored the important equalizer in the 110th minute to make it 2-2 and thus enabled his team to have the highest-scoring penalty shoot-out in the history of the Mexican Supercup. Again the penalty shootout ended 10: 9, this time to the disadvantage of the Necaxistas .

Trainer

After finishing his active career, Fal worked again for Necaxa in the 1984/85 season as assistant coach to José Antonio Roca . A few years later he led CF Pachuca in the 1991/92 season to the second division championship and promotion to the Primera División , where he looked after the team until the end of February 1993. His only first division season ended with a record of seven wins and seven draws as well as 15 defeats.

Benjamin Fal was also the head coach of the prestigious amateur league Española de Fútbol for Centro Gallego and Galicia Selección Liga .
