Benjamin: strong as a bear! is a Canadian cartoon series about two teddy bears and their children. It was produced by PorchLight Entertainment  and Amberwood Entertainment. Previously, the main character appeared in the short films The Teddy Bears 'Picnic  (1989),  The Teddy Bears' Christmas  (1992) and  The Teddy Bears Scare  (1998).

Benjamin Bear is a happy teddy bear who likes to help others. Together with his protégé Stubsi , he helps their children Max and Elisa and acts in such a way that they do not notice anything. The "teddy rule" applies: "Never let a person see you move."

Production and broadcast

The series was first broadcast in 2003 on the Family Channel . The German premiere took place on November 5, 2005 on KiKA . From 2003 to 2007, 104 episodes were produced with an average length of twelve minutes. Only 78 of them were dubbed in German.
