Gustaf Benjamin Frosterus , called Benjamin, (born October 30, 1866 in Borgå , † April 1, 1931 in Helsinki ) was a Finnish geologist and soil scientist.

Frosterus was the son of the historian and professor Johan Gustaf Frosterus (1826-1901). He obtained his license in 1895. From 1889 he was a state geologist at the geological survey of Finland, from 1918 head of a department for soil science (agro-geology) and from 1926 director of the state soil research institute. In the same year he received the title of professor.

Under his direction, central Finland was geologically mapped in the 1890s. The maps were published on a scale of 1: 400,000.
