Mining settlement (St. Kathrein am Hauenstein)

Mining settlement is part of the municipality of St. Kathrein am Hauenstein in the district of Weiz in Styria .

The settlement is located north of Sankt Kathrein on the hillside below the Rifugio-Hauereck and was once a mining village of coal mine rat St.Kathrein. Today it mainly consists of weekend houses. Nevertheless, it is shown in the priority zone map of the Province of Styria as a priority zone for development.
