The Bergische Blätter is a periodical magazine that reports on events in the Bergisch city triangle Wuppertal - Solingen - Remscheid . It appears every 14 days and illuminates social, historical, political, cultural and economic topics in reports, interviews, portraits and comments.

history

Schützenstraße 45 in Wuppertal, seat of the publishing house and editorial office

Since May 1978, the magazine has dealt with homeland-related topics that have no place in the major daily newspapers. Originating from a student idea, the magazine developed from historical reporting to a current magazine for news about the Bergisches Land . In March 1986 the Bergische Blätter were supplemented by four pages "From the Bergische Universität ", which are designed by the university and provide information about the university.

subjects

The Bergische Blätter are composed of different categories. In addition to the recurring topics "News" (various texts and news from the city triangle Wuppertal-Solingen-Remscheid), "Culture" (literature recommendations, references to art exhibitions or the like), "Bergischer Calendar" and "From the Bergische University" are also available changing title topic as well as special pages on an "extra" topic.
