The BergTierPark Blindham (proper spelling BergTierPark ) is a privately owned zoo in Blindham , a district of Aying in the extreme southeast of the district of Munich .
The zoo, which opened in 2004, is located on the site of a former farm and is home to around 25 different domestic and wild animal species. Besides in Europe native some entrained species (eg. As chipmunks, nutria, raccoon) and rare breeds of domestic animals shown. The animals are mostly housed in large enclosures adapted to the natural environment, which can be explored on a 2.2 km long circular path.
